So dope to see how the LA Times honored the memory of my wife's grandfather, Richard Dedeaux, who recently passed. It shows that he made a difference. He was a member of the legendary Watts Prophets and even battled Muhammad Ali in a poetry contest and won! The Watts Prophets came together during the 1960's in order to combat and speak out against tragedies caused by racism happening in the Los Angeles area.
